Sharing Session on Legal Topics on Receiving and Handling Collateral at HD Bank

Lawyer Nguyen Quoc Cuong had a session sharing legal topics related to receiving and handling secured assets at HD Bank. The sharing session was held at the hall on the 15th floor of building 25 Bis Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, City. Ho Chi Minh.
The topic of the sharing session is: Legalities related to receiving and handling secured assets and some new points of the Land Law 2024 and Housing Law 2023 affecting credit-granting activities.
Within the framework of the sharing session, Lawyer Nguyen Quoc Cuong and Master - Executive Officer of the City Judgment Enforcement Department. Ho Chi Minh City's Dang Thi Thuong Hoai had in-depth discussions on related legal issues and shared practical experiences on the application of legal regulations at HD Bank.
The sharing session not only helped HD Bank officials and employees better understand current legal regulations related to secured assets but also updated important changes in laws such as the Land Law. Belt 2024 and Housing Law 2023, thereby supporting banks in accurately and effectively applying legal regulations to credit-granting activities more effectively and safely.
The Dong Nai Provincial Bar Association provides free legal education and consultation for residents and students in Long Thanh District
On November 8, 2024, the Dong Nai Provincial Bar Association organized a free legal education and consultation program for residents and students in Long Thanh District, attracting nearly 100 residents from Binh Son Commune and over 150 students from Binh Son High School.
The session focused on the new regulations of the 2024 Land Law, particularly highlighting the rights and obligations of land users, as well as compensation and resettlement policies. The lawyers helped the residents gain a clearer understanding of their legal entitlements in land-related matters, while also offering valuable information to address common legal issues.
In addition, the Dong Nai Provincial Bar Association also disseminated legal regulations on the prevention of school violence, aiming to raise students' awareness of personal safety and the importance of protecting themselves and their peers within the school environment. The lawyers provided practical legal knowledge to help students better understand their rights and responsibilities in preventing school violence.
Notably, Lawyer Huỳnh Mẫn Kỳ, a member of Infinity Vietnam Law Firm (INlaw Vietnam), participated in the program alongside his colleagues from the Dong Nai Provincial Bar Association. He directly provided legal advice and addressed legal questions from both residents and students. With his extensive experience in the legal field, Lawyer Huỳnh Mẫn Kỳ played a key role in the success of the consultation, helping residents better understand their rights.
Besides legal education and dissemination, the Dong Nai Provincial Bar Association also allocated time to provide direct legal consultations to residents and students upon request. Additionally, the Bar Association donated 20 gift packages to poor and disadvantaged households in Binh Son Commune and awarded 20 scholarships to underprivileged students at Binh Son High School, to encourage their determination in both academic and personal growth.
The program was a great success, not only providing useful and essential legal knowledge to the community but also playing an important role in raising awareness and fostering a culture of legal compliance in society.

To celebrate Vietnam Lawyer's Day (October 10) and Vietnam Law Day (November 9), on the morning of October 10, 2024, INFINITY Vietnam Law LLC (“INlaw”), in cooperation with the People’s Committee of Ward 5, Go Vap District, organized a free legal consultation session for residents in the ward. The program took place at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ward 5 and attracted a large number of participants from the community.
The legal consultation featured the presence of representatives from the leadership of the People's Committee of Ward 5 and a team of experienced lawyers from INlaw, as well as numerous residents interested in understanding legal matters. This practical activity aims to enhance legal awareness within the community while demonstrating the social responsibility of lawyers in making legal knowledge more accessible to the public.
During the consultation, legal experts from INlaw provided enthusiastic and easy-to-understand advice on various topics, including Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, Labor Law, and Business Law (covering the establishment of household businesses, private companies, etc.).
In sharing at the event, the representative of the People's Committee of Ward 5 expressed the expection that collaborating with INlaw in legal advocacy and consultation work represents a significant advancement, enhancing the resources and expertise available to share legal knowledge with each citizen. The Committee aspires that, through such consultation sessions, the community will better understand and follow the law, thereby supporting sustainable development in the area.
